On Saturday, October 3rd, our #SpearSarcoma team took on the 5k PARK Fest at Historic Virginia Key. Brand new shirts and redesigned bands made their debuts at our Manny Alvarez Foundation table!

Friends, family, and supporters gathered before the run to enjoy the food trucks, the vendors, and the band – Problem Kids. Even the band members were sporting #MAF shirts and bands!

It was a sea of yellow and grey as runners crowded the starting line. We had runners, walkers, and everything in between participating for our cause.

It was the perfect day for a run! The sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and we were raising awareness about Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma.

At the end of the race, the awards ceremony was held. We were honored to receive a cup for having the most participants on our team! We’d like to extend our thanks to those who participated for making this happen.

It’s safe to say the 5k PARK Fest was a success! Make sure to join us at our next event!
